1) Do the work as described.
2) Produce the "deliverable."
3) Prepare the invoice.
4) Ensure before printing said invoice that all the details are correct, like contact information, pricing & purchase orders.

It is an important step in bookkeeping to record ALL of the transactions. Recording some just does not work. I finished reconciling the bank accounts of a client and they have a tendency of recording the non deposit, non cheque transactions at the end of the month. NO.
