WHAT IS A CONTROLLER
Every company has a list of issues that require someone with an accounting background to administer.  In mid to large size companies, there will be an entire department handling these functions.  This department is managed by the Controller, as is described in the attached article, who often is a professionally designated accountant.

Basically, the Controller is responsible for:
  1. Preparing the financial statements.
  2. Human Resources which includes payroll and benefits.
  3. Billing.
  4. Collections.
  5. Liaison with the vendors.
  6. Communicating with the bank.
  7. Liaison with various government bodies.
  8. Ensuring all taxes are paid on a timely basis.
The Controller, with their background in accounting, is often responsible for the administration of insurance and leases and like items.

Our focus is to provide the services that are listed above on a contract basis.
